SOLUTION FOCUSED HYPNOTHERAPY SERVICES
CONSULTATION
This is more than just a consultation, but time for us to explore together why you are seeking support and what you want to achieve moving forward. From our discussions, Anxiety, depression, phobia's whatever the problem I will be able to create a personalised treatment plan and discuss with you how many sessions you may need. I will explain in more depth how solutions focused hypnotherapy works, and the workings of the brain in relation to your goals. This will enable you to understand more about yourself and the issues you would like to overcome. This is also your opportunity to ask any questions about the process, so that you feel comfortable and informed about the next steps.
ENVIRONMENT
Therapy is conducted either face to face in my treatment room in Barton or can be carried out via zoom. The therapy room at Exhale HQ is specifically designed to create a special oasis of peace and calm for clients. We have our heated therapy couch, fluffy blankets and aroma oils burning to deliver a multi-sensorial experience for clients. It is a safe place and a haven of calm and tranquillity.
Therapy
Appointments last for one hour and initially we recommend one session per week and we generally work with clients between 6 and 12 weeks depending on progress. During each session, we will discuss progress since the previous appointment and we measure this by a process called scaling. . Each appointment concludes with hypnotherapy which works with very specific language patterns to develop certain positive neurological pathways. The hypnotherapy session is conducted whilst playing specialist brainwave music.
AFTERCARE
Each client is given a hypnotic recording which is a combination of the Alpha brainwave music and the hypnotic language patterns that Sarah uses during the session. Clients are advised to listen to the recording each day or night which really helps the therapeutic process by continually bedding in those positive thoughts into the neuropathways.
We advise that each day clients make a note of three positives (the main 3 P’s). 1 Positive thought, 1 positive action 1 positive interaction. This is advised for purely chemical reasons. When we acknowledge the positive aspects of our life we begin a release of positive chemicals within the neuro pathways. Positive action releases dopamine, Positive interaction releases Oxytocin and Positive thoughts release Serotonin.
